Your desert adventure begins at 9:00 AM. A driver will pick you up from your hotel in Errachidia. First, you will marvel at panoramic views of the lush Ziz Valley. The journey then continues through Erfoud, a town known for its fossils, with an optional workshop visit. Finally, you will arrive in Merzouga, where the majestic Erg Chebbi dunes await.
In the afternoon, your camel trek begins. A 1.5-hour journey takes you across the golden sands. Along the way, pause for sunset photos and try your hand at sandboarding. Later, you will arrive at your desert camp and be greeted with mint tea. Enjoy a traditional dinner, followed by Berber music under a canopy of stars.
An early start rewards you with a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, you will return to Merzouga by either camel or 4WD. The journey back takes you through the town of Rissani. You can visit its lively market if it’s a market day (Sunday, Tuesday, or Thursday). The route includes stops for photos and lunch. You will arrive back in Errachidia by the afternoon, where your driver will transfer you to your hotel or the airport, concluding your tour.
